The Woodcraft Centre uses reclaimed timber kindly donated by local factories around Birmingham, to create wonderful gifts, furniture products, garden pieces and bespoke items. We also carry out repair jobs on items which need fixing.
Our highly skilled craftsman, Bryan, has run the Better Pathways woodcraft workshop for over 12 years. He enjoys teaching people skills in wood craft and creating bespoke pieces for customers.
"We get all sorts of reclaimed timber from large pieces, cut offs and even wooden pallets which we then use to transform into other great products. The best thing is all the materials are donated to us and nothing goes to waste. Even the offcuts left over get bagged up for wood/fire burning! By reusing materials, we are helping the environment whilst providing a wonderful service."
- Bryan, craftsman at Better Pathways

The Woodcraft Centre helps those with poor mental health. The centre gives them a place to learn new skills, develop ways in working with wood craft, and provides a friendly positive environment to socialise.
“I find it very rewarding teaching people new skills and seeing them develop over time. Giving people something to do makes a great change to their sense of wellbeing. Not only this but it allows them to socialize and meet with other people in a welcoming environment.”
